Pauly’s Project Newsletter: Community Update (Spring 2026)
Over the years, Pauly’s Project has had to adapt to meet the growing challenges of our communities. For example, we’ve taken on grocery distributions for hungry families, created a job fair to help those in reentry and rehabilitation programs, and last year we gathered supplies and housewares for fire victims.
To say that Los Angeles is still going through challenges is an understatement. See how the Pauly’s Project team is adapting once again and how you can support us and other community orgs during this time.

Supporting Our Immigrant Neighbors
Right now immigrants are our most vulnerable communities and Pauly’s Project has been busy organizing to help them. Even those not directly targeted by ICE raids are having their industries and businesses severely disrupted (this at a time when inflation was already making it hard for many to make ends meet).
We’ve partnered with like-minded orgs to expand our reach. We’re now distributing food, clothing and house supplies to Latino and Asian families in need throughout LA, OC, Riverside, and Ventura County. We encourage you to follow our friends LA Baby Cooperative, Saturated In His Love and A Future Super Hero who are on the front lines of these efforts and we will continue to highlight other amazing partner orgs who do the same.
If you wish to become more proactive in community defense, check out CHIRLA, Union Del Barrio, and Community Self Defense Coalition LA. Please stay safe out there!
Supporting Pauly’s Project
Physical Donations:
Here’s our donation wish list. These are the items we need year-round for our regular street outreach. The items highlighted in blue are the most in-demand.
For immigrant and fire recovery families, we’re also looking for baby and toddler supplies, toys, housewares, small appliances, cleaning supplies, and family sized hygiene items.
You can drop these items off to us at our Covina warehouse (843 E Edna Place) on Tuesdays or Thursdays or bring them with you to our Sunday street outreach missions in DTLA (every 1st & 3rd Sundays meeting at 10:30am at Farmer Boys on Alameda Street).
A great way to support us is by organizing a donation drive at your work or upcoming event. Narrowing the ask to a few specific items can help keep things focused. We also have Pauly’s Project branded donation bins that we can lend you… just ask!
Online Donations & Community Heroes:
Please consider supporting us financially. One of the most impactful ways to do that is by becoming a Community Hero monthly donor. For as little as $10 a month, you’ll help us cover ongoing costs like gasoline, food, serving ware, etc…
Here’s Paul’s niece Isabella to explain Community Heroes in detail.
